Scabiosa Butterfly Blue is a fantastic addition to pots and containers as well as rockeries, as it loves full sun and moist but well-drained soils. If used in a border, position it front and centre for maximum sunlight exposure.
Its striking pin-cushion blue flowers are a draw for bees and butterflies alike as they produce a good amount of nectar. Their seeds post-flowering are also eaten by birds. You can expect to see Scabiosa Butterfly Blue flowering between July and September.
Dead-head as necessary, ensuring proper drainage and maximum sunlight.
