Aquilegia Cottage Garden Mix in a 7.5cm pot

A colourful mixture of Aquilegia flowers, (Monks Head Lily), is a stunning range of shapes and shades, certain to brighten up the garden in summer. The deciduous basal foliage underpins the 40-70cm leafy stems, the flowers appearing from late spring throughout the summer. The Charming bonnet like flowers, with hooked spurs, nod gracefully from the branching and upright stems. Ideal for the front of the bed or border where it will thrive in moist but well drained soil in a sunny position. Will tolerate partial or dappled shade. Can be prone to aphids but for an easy natural solution simply plant near Petunias, garlic, chives or onions which will discourage them.
